Noel and Liam Gallagher reunited earlier this year for their long-awaited tour, and their upcoming concert film “has captured music history”.<\/p>\n
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “This film has captured music history and the footage is incredible.<\/p>\n
“The drama off stage, covering the steps that began their reunion, are as good as any Hollywood blockbuster.<\/p>\n
“It really is dynamite. The brothers are opening up in a way we have never seen before.”<\/p>\n
\nThe studio behind the project are hoping to enter the film for major awards in the coming months.<\/p>\n
\nThe insider continued: “It will be very emotional for not only them to look back on, but fans, too. The studio is now reviewing what steps they have to take for the movie to be entered into these major awards.”<\/p>\n
\nOasis split in 2009 following a massive bust-up between Liam and Noel, with the brothers going years without talking before eventually mended the rift and getting the band back together for a world tour.<\/p>\n
\nAnd Richard Ashcroft recently admitted that he relished the experience of supporting Oasis on tour.<\/p>\n
\nHe told The Independent newspaper: “The energy of this summer, I\u2019ll probably never experience anything like it again. On stage, it was great.<\/p>\n
\n“The reaction from the crowd was just incredible. For someone like me, as a songwriter or a performer, your camel hump gets drained and you don\u2019t know where you\u2019re gonna find any sustenance. <\/p>\n
\n“And then something happens like this and you think, actually, I\u2019ve got new energy. Even just the art of writing a tune, refocusing on that, it\u2019s inspiring … <\/p>\n
\n“It really brought home to me, wow, Noel, what a songwriter, undeniable. Liam, wow, what a force, what a power, what a voice, what a dude.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Verve star was also amazed by Liam’s “discipline” on tour.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “It\u2019s a bit like if there\u2019s stuff going on within your family …The beautiful thing about it is, Liam\u2019s discipline is amazing. <\/p>\n
\n“I don\u2019t think he\u2019s allowing himself to be in any situations where he can go off track or whatnot. Noel seems to be in a really good space. The whole band seems to be.”<\/p>\n
