Dylan Efron<\/strong><\/a> has assured Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> fans that he is on the mend after suffering an injury.<\/p>\n The former Traitors<\/em> star, 33, light-heartedly announced on Saturday, October 25, that he broke his nose \u2014 though he promised the facial snafu will not hold him back from performing on DWTS<\/em>\u2019s next live show.<\/p>\n \u201cBroke my nose, but dont [sic] need it to dance,\u201d Efron announced via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m seriously all good.\u201d<\/p>\n Efron went on to thank his Dancing With the Stars<\/em> professional partner Daniella Karagach<\/strong>, her fellow pro Pasha Pashkov<\/strong> and celebrity contestant Danielle Fishel<\/strong> for supporting him through the injury.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll never forget the way Dani, Pasha and Danielle WOULDN\u2019T leave me side when it happened, warms my heart to have friends like them,\u201d he beamed.<\/p>\n In one Instagram slide, Efron confirmed that the injury occurred in Dancing With the Stars<\/em> rehearsals.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were trying a new move and I took an elbow right here,\u201d he said as he pointed to his broken nose. \u201cAnd, it made a really loud crack. So, not how I wanted to end the rehearsal day, but we\u2019ll be back dancing tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n Several others within the Dancing With the Stars<\/em> community showed their support for Efron in the comment section.<\/p>\n \u201cOh em gee,\u201d DWTS<\/em> professional Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong> replied, with celebrity contestant Robert Irwin<\/strong> offering his best wishes by writing: \u201cWhat!!!!! Feel better mate.\u201d<\/p>\n Pro Mark Ballas<\/strong> added, \u201cI hope you\u2019re ok brother. sending you love.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWHAT?!! @dylanefron hope you\u2019re ok,\u201d pro Emma Slater<\/strong> chimed in.<\/p>\n Efron\u2019s Traitors<\/em> costar \u201cBoston\u201d Rob Mariano<\/strong> made light of his friend\u2019s injury with some tongue-in-cheek instructions for Karagach.<\/p>\n \u201cKeep him in line @daniellakaragach,\u201d the Survivor<\/em> alum, 49, teased.<\/p>\n The injury comes on the heels of another triumphant week for Efron and Karagach, as they survived elimination during Wicked<\/em> Week on Tuesday, October 21, with their rumba set to \u201cI\u2019m Not That Girl\u201d from the musical blockbuster scoring a solid 32 out of 40 points.<\/p>\n Efron and Karagach\u2019s next challenge will be a spooky rendition of the Viennese waltz set to Tommee Profitt<\/strong> and Brooke<\/strong>\u2019s cover of the Elvis Presley<\/strong> classic \u201cCan\u2019t Help Falling in Love\u201d for Halloween Week<\/a> on Tuesday, October 28. Other exciting routines lined up for the holiday episode include Alix Earle<\/strong> and Chmerkovskiy dancing a tango to Billie Eilish<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cBury a Friend\u201d as well as Jen Affleck<\/strong> and Jan Ravnik<\/strong> setting their contemporary dance to Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cLook What You Made Me Do.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars<\/em> viewers recently met Dylan\u2019s 5-year-old sister Olivia Efron as part of his Dedication Week routine, though his brother Zac Efron<\/strong> has yet to make an appearance in the ballroom.<\/p>\n Dylan told Extra<\/em> that Zac is simply \u201cdoing his thing\u201d and while he may not have appeared on DWTS<\/em> yet, his older brother is still \u201csupporting me every day.\u201d<\/p>\n As part of his Dedication Week performance, Dylan chose the song \u201cRewrite the Stars\u201d from The Greatest Showman<\/em>, which Zac performed with Zendaya<\/strong> in the 2017 movie. Dylan later told Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively that the song choice \u201cjust made sense.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt wasn\u2019t even a thought,\u201d he confirmed. \u201cThat\u2019s like my favorite performance by Zac, so it was special.\u201d<\/p>\n Dylan also recently confirmed that Zac has offered encouragement<\/a> throughout his DWTS<\/em> journey, including the High School Musical<\/em> actor even sharing his memories of attending tapings of the ABC show in the past.<\/p>\n
