The 24-year-old influencer got emotional this week while preparing for her next routine, sharing a tearful behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals on October 24. In the social media clip<\/a>, Alix appeared visibly upset as she used viral audio from The Kardashians<\/em>, featuring Kim Kardashian<\/strong> saying, \u201cThere\u2019s days where I feel like I know it all and I wake up the next morning and I\u2019m like wait, none of that makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her caption? \u201cReality of the first two days of me learning a new dance HAHAH.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans immediately flooded the comments with support and praising her honesty. After all, this season of DWTS<\/em> has been one of the most competitive yet \u2014 and Alix has been holding her own alongside her partner, professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Just two days before posting the emotional video, the duo wowed judges and viewers during \u201cWicked Night,\u201d performing a jazz routine to \u201cWhat Is This Feeling?\u201d by Ariana Grande<\/strong> and Cynthia Erivo<\/strong>. The performance scored them an impressive 35 out of 40 \u2014 but it also sparked online chatter that the song might have been a subtle nod to rumored tension between Alix and Val.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, online, people say a bunch of stuff, but I can say, behind the scenes, it\u2019s all love,\u201d Alix told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> after the show. \u201cI feel like there\u2019s a lot of fans online this season, which I know is newer and just it keeps growing as the show grows. But I\u2019m so happy we got the song we did, and it was really fun for us to kind of tap into that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Val, 39, agreed, adding that \u201cthere are bangers throughout\u201d the Wicked soundtrack, meaning there were no bad song choices.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s chemistry has been a frequent topic of online debate since the season began in September. But Alix previously shut down the drama, assuring fans in a \u201cGet Ready With Me\u201d video that they actually get along great.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so funny, because I feel like we\u2019re becoming besties,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cI think we both just have sarcastic personalities and maybe we need to chill that out, because it does make us look like we hate each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, the duo\u2019s friendship \u2014 and Alix\u2019s confidence \u2014 seem stronger than ever. Their scores have improved each week, and the social media star says she\u2019s learning to take the judges\u2019 critiques in stride.<\/p>\n
