Kate Gosselin<\/a>\u2019<\/strong>s boyfriend, Steve Neild<\/strong><\/a>, signed his divorce papers over a year before news broke that he is dating the former TLC star, Us Weekly<\/em> can exclusively report.<\/p>\n

On September 29, 2023, Steve filed for divorce from his longtime wife, Gina Neild<\/strong>, in Maryland.<\/p>\n

In the filing, obtained by Us<\/em>, he listed the date of marriage as September 22, 1990, noting that they wed in a ceremony in Auckland, New Zealand. The two share two sons: Kristopher<\/strong> and Michael<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In his filing, Steve said he executed a divorce settlement with Gina on September 18, 2023, that resolved all issues, including waiver of alimony and division of property.<\/p>\n

He noted, \u201cThere is no reasonable hope or expectation of reconciliation between the parties.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gina filed her answer to the divorce on the same day Steve filed his divorce. She did not dispute any of the statements made in his paperwork.<\/p>\n

On November 17, 2023, the court signed off on Steve and Gina\u2019s divorce settlement.<\/p>\n

As Us<\/em> previously reported, Gosselin announced she had a boyfriend<\/a> on September 22 during a TikTok Q&A.<\/p>\n

After being asked if she was currently dating, the reality star said, \u201cThe answer to that question is actually, finally, yes. I am dating somebody for the past year to a little over a year, maybe like 14, 15 months.\u201d Based on the statement, the romance began in the summer of 2024. She did not name him at the time.<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI am super, super happy. It\u2019s somebody that I\u2019ve known for a really long time and I am very, very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

She told fans that her boyfriend would not be making too many appearances on social media.<\/p>\n

Kate explained, \u201cHe doesn\u2019t really want to be on TikToks. Can\u2019t blame him really I guess, but you perhaps will catch a peep of him here and there or once in a while going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

On September 30, Kate reportedly revealed on TikTok that her boyfriend\u2019s name was Steve. (Page Six has also reported that they are dating.) Kate spoke to fans during a livestream while in a hospital room following a surgery, according to Parade<\/em><\/a>. The outlet said Kate mentioned she was in the room with her boyfriend.<\/p>\n

Kate said she was injured after her dog Meika \u201cran into me full-speed,\u201d which resulted in a \u201clife-altering\u201d injury to her knee.<\/p>\n

Kate split from her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin<\/strong><\/a>,<\/em> in 2009 after 10 years of marriage. The exes share eight children: twin daughters Cara<\/strong> and Mady<\/strong>, 25, and sextuplets Collin<\/strong><\/a>, Hannah<\/strong>, Joel<\/strong>, Aaden<\/strong>, Alexis<\/strong> and Leah<\/strong>, 21.<\/p>\n
