Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> judge Carrie Ann Inaba<\/strong><\/a> is clapping back at criticism of her scoring \u2014 with help from Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Inaba, 57, shared a pointed TikTok<\/a> video on Wednesday, October 22, mouthing along to one of Swift\u2019s new songs, \u201cActually Romantic,\u201d taken from her record-breaking The Life of a Showgirl<\/em><\/a> album, while applying her makeup.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it\u2019s actually sweet, all the time you\u2019ve spent on me \/ It\u2019s honestly wild, all the effort you\u2019ve put in \/ It\u2019s actually romantic,\u201d the dancer and choreographer mouthed before blowing a kiss to the camera.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy Wednesday morning anthem,\u201d she wrote over the video, which was captioned, \u201cIt\u2019s actually romantic #dwts #fyp.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inaba has faced criticism<\/a> over what some viewers perceive to be harsh scoring on the 34th season of Dancing With the Stars<\/em>, which is currently airing on ABC.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of your dances are starting to feel like I\u2019m watching the same dance over and over again,\u201d she told Boy Meets World<\/em> star Danielle Fishel<\/strong> and her professional dance partner, Pasha Pashkov<\/strong> during the October 14 dedication night episode<\/a>. \u201cTry to give a little bit more variety as far as dynamics. This is also on you, Pasha.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an interview with Variety<\/em><\/a> last week, Pashkov called the comments \u201cunfair.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was not happy. I always get protective. For me, that comment felt unfair, especially being that she said that the dances looked similar,\u201d Pashkov, 39, said. \u201cBut the thing is, we did have a quickstep, and we had a jive this week. These are two dances that very, very similar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we had dances that were drastically different, and they felt the same, I\u2019d understand. But, based on the dances that we had, that did not feel like it made sense to me. In my heart, I\u2019m overprotective because I know how hard Danielle is working. I don\u2019t think she deserved that comment,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

On October 15, Inaba tackled criticism of her scoring<\/a> and accusations of \u201cfavoritism\u201d in her Instagram comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cGiving Whitney [Leavitt] a 9 but Robert [Irwin] an 8, GIRLLL please get it together,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n

Another said, \u201cCan you explain why you gave Whitney a 9 when she was off beat and also has prior dance experience so she shouldn\u2019t be off beat, but Robert and even Jen [Affleck] had a beautiful dance, timing was impeccable and you scored them lower? Just confusing to watch and wondering what goes through your mind when giving those scores.\u201d<\/p>\n
