The Royal Family allegedly wants claims made against Prince Andrew<\/strong> to \u201cbe examined in the proper and fullest ways.\u201d<\/p>\n After it was announced on October 17 that Andrew, 65, was relinquishing the use of his royal titles and honors, a Buckingham palace source told Sky News<\/a><\/em> on Monday, October 20, that it was felt an investigation is needed because of \u201cthe broader allegations and the issues highlighted\u201d against him.<\/p>\n While Andrew has denied all of the allegations made against him, the source told the outlet that the \u201cnew allegations that have been brought up\u201d are of \u201cvery serious and grave concern.\u201d In light of the claims, the palace believes they \u201cshould be examined in the proper and fullest way.\u201d<\/p>\n It was recently reported that Andrew asked a royal close protection officer to \u201cdig up dirt\u201d on Virginia Giuffre<\/strong> in 2011, according to BBC<\/a><\/em>. The outlet was also told that the officer would have been expected to escalate this request from Andrew to his superiors, so other senior individuals may be aware of the alleged requests.<\/p>\n
