Apple Martin<\/b> is proving she\u2019s a rising star in more ways than one.<\/span><\/p>\n The 21-year-old daughter of singer <\/span>Chris Martin<\/b>, and actress <\/span>Gwyneth Paltrow<\/b>, recently joined the band Jade Street for a live surprise performance in Nashville.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The band also shared a clip of Apple singing on their forthcoming single, <\/span>Satellites<\/span><\/i>, which will drop on October 28.<\/span><\/p>\n Following the show, Jade Street posted photos from the concert on Instagram, tagging Apple in the images. Apple wrote, \u201c\ud83e\udda6\ud83e\udda6\ud83e\udda6,\u201d as her <\/span>response<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n This isn\u2019t Apple\u2019s first time diving into <\/span>music<\/span><\/a> though. The young budding performer was previously credited as a co-writer on Coldplay\u2019s 2021 track <\/span>Let Somebody Go<\/span><\/i>, which features singer and actress <\/span>Selena Gomez<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n In September, Apple appeared alongside her mother in a campaign for Gap. Reflecting on the opportunity, the model told <\/span>The Telegraph<\/span><\/i><\/a>, \u201cI constantly remind myself how grateful I am to have these opportunities.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI know this is not a normal way to grow up by any means,\u201d she added in the interview. \u201cBut my parents did a really good job of instilling in me that I shouldn\u2019t be entitled to anything\u2014I have to work.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Earlier this year in April, the 21-year-old opened up about college life during her chat with <\/span>Interview Magazine<\/span><\/i><\/a>. Although she studies Law, History, and Society at Vanderbilt University, she admitted that theater is her biggest love and passion.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m a law, history and society major, but I wish I would\u2019ve taken\u2014maybe I\u2019ll take\u2014a theater course before I leave,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s a fun balance between my very different extracurriculars and my major.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Apple is also part of the Vanderbilt Original Cast (the university\u2019s cabaret theater group). \u201cThis semester\u2019s show is a musical parody of <\/span>Love Island<\/span><\/i> called <\/span>Love on an Island<\/span><\/i>. It\u2019s so fun. The songs are phenomenal,\u201d she revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n While Apple hasn\u2019t decided what she wants to do long-term, one thing is certain\u2014she\u2019s a performer at heart.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI would love to <\/span>do theater<\/span><\/a> because I adore it so much,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve obviously never done film before, but I\u2019ve been trying to get involved in student films. I was born a theater kid.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
