A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I\u2019m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would,\u201d Kristen wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, that\u2019s not your typical anniversary caption.<\/p>\n<p>And while Kristen is clearly joking (at least we <em>hope<\/em> she\u2019s joking!) the humor didn\u2019t work for a lot of her followers.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DP7aIvKktDQ\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Some went so far as to accuse the actress of making light of abusive relationships, and many pointed out that the post came durign Domestic Violence Awareness Month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDomestic violence isn\u2019t a joke,\u201d wrote one commenter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs this\u2026 supposed to be funny?\u201d another added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot funny at all. What kind of man says that to his wife? Oh wait, I know exactly what kind. Happy Anniversary!\u201d another follower enthused.<\/p>\n<p>So yeah, a bit of a mixed reaction, which we guess is to be expected when you\u2019re dabbling in such dark humor.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re sure Dax and Kristen are used to it by now.
