The loved-up duo are currently preparing to welcome their first child together, and an insider has revealed that they already have marriage on their minds.<\/p>\n
A source told People: “Pete and Elsie have talked about marriage and are very committed to each other.”<\/p>\n
Despite this, Pete and Elsie are “not in a rush” to tie the knot.<\/p>\n
The insider explained: “There will be an engagement at some point but they\u2019re not in a rush.”<\/p>\n
\nThe celebrity couple – who went Instagram official with their relationship earlier this year – are “very in love and right now their focus is on welcoming a healthy baby”.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Pete previously revealed that he found the focus on his personal life to be “traumatic”.<\/p>\n
\nThe 31-year-old comedian has dated a host of famous women, including Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, Margaret Qualley, and Phoebe Dynevor, but Pete felt frustrated that people often knew him for his high-profile love life, rather than his comedy talent.<\/p>\n
\nHe said on The Breakfast Club: “It just got to a point where I was … I got really tired of my whole career just being like my personal life. And living through that is it’s sort of traumatic. Like not to be like lame, but like it’s traumatic to live in your own crap all the time.”<\/p>\n
\nPete also hated the experience of being sexualised by the public.<\/p>\n
\nThe comedy star explained: “I don\u2019t want to victimise myself in any way because I\u2019m cool, but the sexualisation of me \u2014 if that was a girl, people would be like, there would be a march for it … Seriously. You’re just talking about my d*** all day.”<\/p>\n
\nPrior to that, Pete claimed that his impending fatherhood had given him a new perspective on life.<\/p>\n
\nThe movie star told People magazine: \u201cI’m just excited to take care of the little one. The second I found out the news, I was like, \u2018Oh wow, what I do is just a job.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\n“I realised I was kind of basing my happiness on work, which is ridiculously unhealthy. So it gave me this weird sense of calmness, where this is just a job and now I have someone to do it for.”<\/p>\n
