Jennifer Aniston starred on the hit sitcom for a decade<\/p>\n
The 56-year-old actress played Rachel Green on the hit sitcom between 1994 and 2004, and Jennifer has recalled asking Warren Littlefield, the then-president of NBC, for some “actor treats” as a reward for the show’s success.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast, Jennifer shared: “I said, \u2018Will you please give me a washer and a dryer?\u2019 And he wrote that down on a napkin.<\/p>\n
“I just kept hearing that all these actors were getting like cars and getting like these things once they got hired. And Friends had happened, and we were, I don\u2019t know, at the upfronts for something, and I was like, \u2018Where\u2019s my … what are all these actors getting these treats for shows and stuff?\u2019”<\/p>\n
Jennifer was keen to get her hands on some “very expensive gifts”, and her efforts ultimately paid off.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress recalled: “[Littlefield] was like, \u2018Well, what do you want?\u2019 and I was like, \u2018Really?\u2019”<\/p>\n
\nJennifer is one of the biggest names in Hollywood, but she previously confessed to being terrible at auditions.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress admitted that she struggles to find immediate chemistry with a stranger.<\/p>\n
\nAppearing on The Hollywood Reporter’s Drama Actress Roundtable – which also featured Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Sofia Vegara, Brie Larson, Naomi Watts and Anna Sawai – Jennifer said: “When you’re in an audition room, you’re already at a disadvantage. Maybe you’d have chemistry with this person if you were in a different environment, and not, like, \u2018Create chemistry. Ready? Go!\u2019<\/p>\n
\n“And I’m a terrible auditioner, always was. I waitressed forever before I could finally get something, which was a Bob’s Big Boy commercial.”<\/p>\n
\nJennifer also insisted that she would never get intimate with an actor during a chemistry test.<\/p>\n
\nThe movie star said: “I haven’t been told you’re going to have to lay down and [get intimate with an actor for a chemistry test], and if asked, I would never.”<\/p>\n
