Evan Spiegel and Miranda Kerr try and keep their children away from screens<\/p>\n

The 42-year-old model has revealed that her Snapchat CEO spouse is very strict when it comes to their sons Hart, seven, Myles, six, and Pierre, 19 months, spending time on technological devices.<\/p>\n

Miranda \u2013 who also has son Flynn, 14, from her marriage to former husband Orlando Bloom<\/a> \u2013 told The Skinny Confidential Him and Her Show: “My husband is very anti-screens for the young ones, because that’s the way he was raised.”<\/p>\n

However, Kerr did explain that she and Evan, 35, have reached a compromise on some screen time for their older children.<\/p>\n

The Australian star said: “I’ve said to him, ‘Look, something that feels good to me is maybe on the weekend or a special occasion, curling up with the kids, (the) six and seven-year-old and the teenager if he wants to join in, and snuggling up and watching a movie.’<\/p>\n

\n“And he’s like, ‘OK, but not every weekend.'”<\/p>\n

\nMiranda explained that the rules are different for Flynn and that her eldest’s Snapchat account is “the only way he communicates with his friends”.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: “They don’t really text. They just Snap each other all day long.”<\/p>\n

\nThe former Victoria’s Secret Angel appreciates how Snapchat, which was founded by her husband in 2011, offers options such as the Family Centre to “explain some of the dangers that are happening online”.<\/p>\n

\nKerr said: “You watch it with them, and it explains very simply what could go wrong or how to prevent it and when to reach out to someone if you feel like something’s off.<\/p>\n

\n“That’s the way we do it at our house.”<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, Miranda recently revealed that she “checked in” on Katy Perry after her much-criticised space flight earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\nThe model, whose former husband Bloom is Katy’s ex-fianc\u00e9, told Today With Jenna and Friends earlier this month: “I spoke to her, and I was like, \u2018How are you feeling?\u2019 “She was lying down in the back of the bus, and she was like, \u2018Wow that was intense.\u2019<\/p>\n

\n“I was like, \u2018I just wanted to check in on you. Are you good? I\u2019m glad you\u2019re in one piece.’ I adore her.”<\/p>\n
