Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a> responded after social media users questioned whether she\u2019s been taking Ozempic for weight loss.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s actually the .5 zoom on the iPhone camera lol,\u201d the Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> alum, 34, wrote in an Instagram<\/a> comment on Thursday, May 25, replying to someone who\u2019d written, \u201cOmg Ozempic.\u201d<\/p>\n The exchange occurred after Cartwright shared a series of photos captioned, \u201cLately.\u201d The first snap in the carousel \u2014 a mirror selfie of the Bravo star in bike shorts and a T-shirt \u2014 seemingly inspired some commenters to question Cartwright\u2019s appearance. (Her upload also included photos of her with husband Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a> and their son, Cruz, 2.)<\/p>\n The Kentucky native is the latest celeb to speak out about Ozempic, which is the name brand of one of several semaglutide drugs used to treat diabetes. In recent months, the medication has become popular for its off-label usage<\/a> as a weight loss treatment.<\/p>\n Several Bravo stars \u2014 including Dolores Catania<\/strong><\/a> and Margaret Josephs<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 have confessed to taking Ozempic or similar drugs, while others have vehemently denied using it. In January, Kyle Richards<\/strong><\/a> clapped back after sharing a selfie that showed off her toned abs.<\/p>\n \u201cI have never tried ozempic and this is not from plastic surgery,\u201d the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> star, 54, commented via Instagram<\/a> at the time. \u201cI\u2019m honest about what I do. But if giving plastic surgery the credit makes you feel better then pop off sister.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this week, the Halloween<\/em> actress doubled down on her denial<\/a>, saying that her struggle with anxiety prevents her from even trying the injectable medication.<\/p>\n \u201cI can say that I have never tried it and I have never taken it,\u201d the California native told Page Six<\/em> in an interview published on Tuesday, May 23. \u201cI\u2019m not on any weight loss drug.
