{"id":200052,"date":"2025-10-19T19:01:02","date_gmt":"2025-10-19T19:01:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/19\/neal-mcdonough-teases-tulsa-king-characters-final-moment-in-season-3-excl\/"},"modified":"2025-10-19T19:01:02","modified_gmt":"2025-10-19T19:01:02","slug":"neal-mcdonough-teases-tulsa-king-characters-final-moment-in-season-3-excl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/10\/19\/neal-mcdonough-teases-tulsa-king-characters-final-moment-in-season-3-excl\/","title":{"rendered":"Neal McDonough Teases Tulsa King Character\u2019s Final Moment in Season 3 (Excl)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A storm is coming from Cal Thresher as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/tulsa-king-season-3-release-date-cast-plot-photos-and-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Tulsa King<\/em><\/a> season 3 continues \u2014 at least according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/neal-mcdonough-says-hollywood-turned-on-him-over-no-kissing-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Neal McDonough<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWait until the final speech of season 3,\u201d McDonough, 59, told<em> Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively ahead of this week\u2019s episode, teasing that he \u201cgot emotional\u201d during this moment in the forthcoming finale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe director is like, \u2018I don\u2019t think you can do that, you\u2019re Cal Thresher.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Well, isn\u2019t that more the reason why I should?\u2019 He is completely misunderstood,\u201d the actor continued. \u201cI don\u2019t want anyone thinking that Cal Thresher is one way, when he might be a completely different way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When thinking about the end of this season for McDonough\u2019s character, he notes: \u201cIt just makes me smile.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McDonough made his <em>Tulsa King<\/em> debut during last year\u2019s second season doing \u201cthe whole marijuana gangster thing,\u201d which didn\u2019t exactly work out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI tried it. I\u2019m bored. I\u2019m in my 50s. What do I do for fun [because] that didn\u2019t work?\u201d McDonough said of Cal. Well, the third season answered that question from the very beginning, revealing that Cal is now running for governor of Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I run for governor, two things can happen. I can help my great state be even better \u2014 which is part of it \u2014 but the other half is I can amass, a boatload of power for myself, and I can do basically anything I want. That includes anything I want against Dwight Manfredi.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4136821\" style=\"width: 900px;\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<div class=\"ratio-based-placeholder\" style=\"padding-bottom:66.714285714286%;\"><\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span class=\"caption\"><br \/>\n Sylvester Stallone as Dwight and Neal McDonough as Cal.<\/span> <span class=\"credit\">Brian Douglas\/Paramount+<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>McDonough made it clear, however, that Cal still wants nothing to do with the gangsters in Tulsa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCal Thresher is fighting for Oklahoma to the bitter end. Then, in the end, when things finally come to \u2014 well, I can\u2019t tell you what happens,\u201d McDonough teased.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou see the true colors of Cal Thresher really come out for a little bit and say, \u2018Wow, Cal is one of us.\u2019 I really like that about Cal Thresher this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for what fans can expect to see between Cal and <strong>Sylvester Stallone<\/strong>\u2019s Dwight Manfredi this year? It\u2019s more of an offscreen battle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re talking about each other so much.
