At least four people are dead and a total of 20 people were injured after a bar shooting took place in St. Helena Island, South Carolina.<\/p>\n
The Beaufort County Sheriff\u2019s Office announced that the shooting occurred around 1 a.m. at Willie\u2019s Bar and Grill on Sunday, October 12, according to the Associated Press<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Upon officials\u2019 arrival, they found a large crowd at the bar with several of the people injured after they were shot.<\/p>\n Many of the patrons ran to nearby businesses to seek shelter from the gunfire, the Beaufort County Sheriff\u2019s Office said in an X post<\/a>.<\/p>\n Texas Woman Killed Husband Years After She Killed Her Late Fiance, Sentenced to Life in Prison<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThis is a tragic and difficult incident for everyone,\u201d the statement read. \u201cWe ask for your patience as we continue to investigate this incident. The victims\u2019 identities have not yet been released as of time of publication.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, four people died at the scene of the shooting, according to ABC News<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Owner Willie Turral<\/strong> was inside the bar when the shooting took place, which happened during an alumni event for Battery Creek High School.
