Keith Urban<\/a>, 57, and sources have now told People magazine the Oscar-winner is \u201csurrounded by the two things that matter the most to her \u2013 her family and her work\u201d. <\/p>\nNow back in Nashville following a recent trip to Europe, she is said to be \u201ckeeping it positive\u201d. <\/p>\n
The source added: \u201cShe isn\u2019t someone who dwells on regrets \u2013 she believes everything happens for a reason.\u201d<\/p>\n
News of the couple\u2019s separation broke on 29 September, and court documents confirmed that Nicole filed for divorce the following day, citing irreconcilable differences. <\/p>\n
\nThe filing listed the couple\u2019s official date of separation as 30 September.<\/p>\n
\nNicole and Keith married in 2006 and share two daughters \u2013\u00a0Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. <\/p>\n
\nAccording to People, Nicole requested to be the primary residential parent as part of the divorce proceedings.<\/p>\n
\nA source close to the actor-producer said: \u201cShe has a great attitude and feels very grateful for her life. She has several work projects coming up and is looking forward to them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNicole\u2019s forthcoming screen work includes television adaptations of Margo\u2019s Got Money Troubles and Scarpetta, as well as a third season of Big Little Lies and a sequel to the 1988 film Practical Magic, in which she will reunite with Sandra Bullock. <\/p>\n
\nNicole announced on 13 September via Instagram that filming for Practical Magic 2 had officially wrapped.<\/p>\n
\nIn an interview with Harper\u2019s Bazaar, published shortly after the divorce filing, Nicole appeared to reflect on the emotional challenges of separation. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThere\u2019s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through. You are going to have to feel it, and it\u2019s going to feel insurmountable at times. You\u2019re going to feel like you\u2019re broken, but if you move gently and slowly \u2013 and it can take an enormous amount of time \u2013 it does pass.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnother source close to the family told People on 2 October Nicole had been \u201cstressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nThey added: \u201cBut she\u2019s surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it\u2019s out she\u2019s just focused on what\u2019s ahead and her girls.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nA separate insider previously told People Nicole \u201chas been fighting to save the marriage\u201d, saying: \u201cShe didn\u2019t want this.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThe source added \u201cthe entire Kidman family has come together to support one another\u201d, particularly her sister Antonia Kidman.<\/p>\n
