I just finished my second month of treatment and if you\u2019re asking how long treatment is, technically forever,\u201d the 34-year old told fans. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am optimistic about medical advancements in the future. Fingers crossed as a stage 4 girly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thurston, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/02\/katie-thurston-reveals-breast-cancer-diagnosis-says-im-ready-to-fight-this\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced her condition in February<\/a>, continued as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now, after finishing two months of my medication, my hair is coming out in an unnatural amount of clumps. Working on that. I\u2019m losing my memory. That\u2019s great. Going through customs and them being like, \u2018Where are you coming from?\u2019 And I looked at him and I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t remember. But yeah, cancer is sh-t Sometimes I\u2019m like, \u2018Stop feeling bad for yourself.\u2019 Other times I\u2019m like, \u2018You\u2019re allowed to feel bad for yourself. Cancer f-cking sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It sure does.<\/p>\n<p>Not long after Thurston said her cancer had reached stage 4 level, Acuri left a comment on his wife\u2019s Instagram page that simply read:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re the strongest woman I know. Every day that I\u2019m alive, I\u2019m a survivor,\u201d she added. \u201cSo go me, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thurston captioned her latest post, \u201cIt\u2019s #nationalcancersurvivorsday so here are my thoughts on my #breastcancer experiences so far including updates on #zoladex #lupron and #histotripsy #metastaticbreastcancer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We continue to wish Katie Thurston all the best.
