Quinton Aaron<\/strong><\/a>, best known for his breakout role in The Blind Side<\/em>, has dropped 200 pounds<\/a> \u2014 and says his biggest weight lifted was an emotional one.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey guys it has definitely been a tough few years since Covid. Made new friends and lost old ones. However, last year when I married my #puertorique\u00f1a @margaritaleta75 I feel like God started smiling on me and I praise him for his grace and mercy and favor in my life,\u201d Aaron, 41, captioned an Instagram post<\/a> on Tuesday, October 14, showing off his transformation.<\/p>\n

In the slideshow of photos, he posed in a pair of pants that no longer fit him, also sharing a before-and-after shot to showcase the results of his hard work. Aaron beamed with pride while showcasing his slimmer figure and flashing a smile after getting a fresh haircut.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-8 actor revealed that he achieved his results the old-fashioned way, implementing lifestyle changes through diet and exercise as well as incorporating a little cardio in the bedroom, he told TMZ<\/em><\/a>. (Quinton tied the knot with his wife, Margarita Aaron<\/strong>, in December 2024.)<\/p>\n

Quinton rose to fame by starring as Michael Oher in the 2009 movie The Blind Side<\/em> alongside Sandra Bullock<\/strong><\/a> and Tim McGraw<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt my heaviest, I was 575 pounds. As of today, I am 370 pounds,\u201d he proudly shared, praising his spouse for being an unwavering support while he focused on his wellness journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cMentally, physically and emotionally<\/a>, she has been my confidant and shelter through my storms,\u201d Quinton told the outlet. \u201cI truly believe God was blessing me with one of his angels when he sent her to me. She\u2019s helped me get over my depression and so much more. She loves to tell people that she only does 5 percent and I do the other 95 percent but I believe she\u2019s much more important in my life than even she gives herself credit for.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor revealed that he gained weight when he turned to food after his mom died in 2008 but has since found healthier ways to cope with hardships in his life.<\/p>\n

He spoke more about his binge-eating during an interview with the \u201cRecovery Vow<\/a>\u201d podcast in September.<\/p>\n
