Danielle Fishel<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s Boy Meets World<\/em>-themed jive had some Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> fans in tears at home \u2014 but judge Carrie Ann Inaba<\/strong><\/a> wasn\u2019t totally swayed by the nostalgia.<\/p>\n

In one of the most anticipated Dedication Night performances, Fishel, 44, and partner Pasha Pashkov<\/strong> were joined on stage by her former costar William Daniels<\/strong><\/a> (a.k.a. Mr. Feeny). Fishel and Pashkov, 39, brought viewers back to the \u201990s with big smiles as they danced to the sitcom\u2019s iconic theme song.<\/p>\n

While guest judge Kym Johnson-Herjavec<\/strong><\/a> praised Fishel\u2019s \u201ceffortless\u201d movement, Inaba, 57, claimed the pair\u2019s dances are starting to all look the same. As expected, Inaba\u2019s comments were met with boos throughout the ballroom \u2014 but Fishel is taking the critique in stride.<\/p>\n

\u201cI absolutely understand what Carrie Ann was saying, and it\u2019s the reason I did not take any offense to it,\u201d she exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> after the taping on Tuesday, October 14. \u201cI appreciate it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGrab the tissues because Dancing With the Stars\u2019 Dedication Night brought the moves \u2014 and the tears. On Tuesday, October 14, former pro Kym Johnson-Herjaveck joined Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli behind the judges table for week five of ABC\u2019s competition show. \u201cI know tonight means so much to everyone, so I\u2019m [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fishel looked back at each of her and Pashkov\u2019s routines since season 34 began in September. \u201cIf you think about the dances that we have done, a tango would normally be a more serious dance, but it was our first week. I was thrilled to be here,\u201d she teased. \u201cI had a big smile on my face through a tango, when maybe you wouldn\u2019t normally do that. Then I had a cha-cha with a big smile on my face. Then we had a quickstep and I had a big smile on my face.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daniels\u2019 involvement on Tuesday made that smile appear once again. \u201cShe\u2019s not wrong,\u201d Fishel said of the criticism. (Her jive earned 29 points out of a possible 40.)<\/p>\n

With all of the remaining couples returning for Wicked Night<\/a> on October 21, Fishel and Pashkov are ready to change things up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to give [Carrie Ann] a different style and to show her a different side of me,\u201d Fishel told Us<\/em>. \u201cSo I\u2019m thankful for the feedback and I appreciate it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fishel starred on Boy Meets World<\/em> from 1993 to 2000. In footage from rehearsal shown on Tuesday, she admitted it was \u201cintimidating\u201d to step on set for the first time when she was 12. Daniels, however, was an encouraging presence.<\/p>\n

\u201c[He] treated me like I all deserved all the respect in the world as a fellow actor,\u201d Fishel recalled.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSeveral of Danielle Fishel\u2019s Boy Meets World costars will be surrounding her during Dancing With the Stars Dedication Night, but one will be noticeably absent: Ben Savage. Fishel, 44, shared via Instagram on Monday, October 13, that eight of her former castmates would be watching her and partner Pasha Pashkov in the ballroom, including Will [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Unlike some of the other competitors\u2019 special guests, Daniels stayed seated during his DWTS<\/em> cameo. Fishel told Us<\/em> that it didn\u2019t matter how he was incorporated<\/a> into the dance as long as he got his moment to shine.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really looked at this dedication dance as being a way for me to channel the love and respect that hundreds of thousands \u2014 if not millions \u2014 of people feel for Bill and just to give him this kind of a platform,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd I feel like whether he lifted his hand or did a twirl, it didn\u2019t matter. I think he felt the love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daniels wasn\u2019t the only Boy Meets World<\/em> alum in the ballroom. Several of Fishel\u2019s other costars, including Will Friedle<\/strong>, were on hand to show their support.<\/p>\n
