\t\t<\/p>\n Keri Russell<\/strong><\/a> and Matthew Rhys<\/strong><\/a> hit the red carpet at the premiere of the upcoming third season of her show The Diplomat<\/strong><\/a> <\/em>held at The Metrograph on Tuesday (October 14) in New York City.<\/p>\n The 49-year-old actress was joined by her longtime love at the tastemaker screening of the first episode of the new season, which was followed by a panel with the cast and showrunner Debora Cahn<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Also stepping out were Keri<\/strong>\u2018s co-stars Allison Janney<\/strong><\/a>, Bradley Whitford<\/strong><\/a>, David Gyasi<\/strong><\/a>, Ali Ahn<\/strong><\/a> and Ato Essandoh<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n Here\u2019s a season three synopsis: Ambassador Kate Wyler (Russell<\/strong>) lives the particular nightmare that is getting what you want. She just accused Vice President Grace Penn (Janney<\/strong>) of hatching a terrorist plot and admitted she\u2019s after the VP\u2019s job. But now the President is dead, Kate\u2019s husband Hal (Rufus Sewell<\/strong><\/a>) may have inadvertently killed him, and Grace Penn is leader of the free world. None of this slows Hal\u2019s campaign to land Kate the vice presidency.
