Alec Baldwin<\/a><\/strong> has broken his silence after he and his brother Stephen Baldwin<\/strong> were involved in a car crash.<\/p>\n The 30 Rock alum, 67, took to Instagram<\/a> on Monday, October 13, to address \u201cinquiries\u201d from fans who were concerned about the accident. In the clip, he explained that he was in East Hampton to attend the Hamptons International Film Festival. He was driving on the morning of October 13 when a \u201cgarbage truck the size of a whale\u201d cut him off on the road.<\/p>\n \u201cTo avoid hitting him, I hit a tree,\u201d Alec said, noting that the car he was driving was \u201cpretty smashed up\u201d after he hit the \u201cbig, fat tree.\u201d<\/p>\n He also shared that the car he was driving belonged to his wife, Hilaria Baldwin<\/strong>. \u201cI crushed my wife\u2019s car.
