Kathryn Dennis<\/strong><\/a> is a free woman after serving her sentence for her DUI conviction.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> can confirm the Southern Charm<\/em> alum, 34, was released from Berkeley County Hill-Finklea Detention Center in South Carolina on Tuesday, October 14.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe walked out [of the building] about 5 minutes ago,\u201d an officer from the sheriff\u2019s office told Us <\/em>at 9:45 a.m. local time.<\/p>\n

On October 3, the reality star was sentenced to 30 days in jail for her role in a three-car crash that occurred on May 20, 2024, per NBC Affiliate News 2<\/a>. She only served 11 days behind bars.<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> reached out to Dennis for comment.<\/p>\n

Larry Patrick Griffin, a man who claimed he suffered \u201cserious\u201d injuries as a result of the accident, later sued Dennis on August 14, 2025, according to court documents<\/a> obtained by Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Griffin alleged he was stopped in traffic in the \u201cNorthbound lane of Highway 52, in the City of Goose Creek,\u201d South Carolina, when the former reality star reportedly smashed her 2018 GMC pickup truck into the rear of another vehicle, which subsequently hit his car.<\/p>\n

In the lawsuit, Griffin accused Dennis of being \u201cunder the influence and sway of alcohol and\/or controlled substances\u201d at the time of the collision, which he blamed solely on her alleged negligence.<\/p>\n

Griffin said he \u201csuffered serious bodily injury, pain and suffering, and mental anguish, and will continue to do so in the future\u201d due to the crash, arguing that Dennis made a \u201cconscious decision to drive a motor vehicle on a public roadway while under the influence and intoxication of alcoholic beverages.\u201d<\/p>\n

He demanded unspecified damages in his lawsuit, while the Southern Charm<\/em> alum has yet to respond.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived at the accident scene, they claimed Dennis had \u201cglossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her person.\u201d<\/p>\n

They also noted that an unopened mini bottle of Fireball<\/a> was found on the floorboard of her truck.<\/p>\n

The mom of two initially denied she had consumed any alcohol or medication before getting behind the wheel. Later, during questioning, Dennis allegedly admitted to law enforcement that she consumed alcoholic beverages \u201cway earlier\u201d that day.<\/p>\n

TMZ shared bodycam footage of her arrest, in which Dennis told cops they were \u201cruining\u201d her life.<\/p>\n

\u201cY\u2019all are ruining my life,\u201d the ex-Bravolebrity said in the footage. \u201cAnd my kids\u2019 [lives]. Thanks for nothing. You didn\u2019t even do a field sobriety test to know if you\u2019re legit or not. No, you sure didn\u2019t. You didn\u2019t do a blood alcohol test. Maybe I don\u2019t have the best balance in the whole wide world, but you sure didn\u2019t confirm what you were doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
