Patricia Arquette<\/strong><\/a> is the latest star to share her memories of the late Diane Keaton<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was just so immediate, and so alive and so generous,\u201d the Severance<\/em> actress told People<\/em><\/a> on Monday, October 13.<\/p>\n

Keaton directed Arquette, 57, in a 1991 television movie, Wildflower<\/em>, which costarred Beau Bridges<\/strong> and Reese Witherspoon<\/strong> and aired on Lifetime. Keaton also directed Arquette in a 1990 episode of CBS Schoolbreak Special<\/em> titled \u201cThe Girl With the Crazy Brother,\u201d per People<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was just so effervescent and so alive,\u201d Arquette continued to describe her fellow Oscar winner, who died at age 79<\/a> on Saturday, October 11, noting that Keaton \u201chad no pretenses\u201d and had \u201csuch an incredible vision for beauty and design and photography and art.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to acting, Keaton \u2014 who died on Saturday, October 11, at age 79 \u2014 was also a director, sitting behind the camera for music videos, movies and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cShe was very nice to me. Generous, generous artist and a very special, unique person,\u201d Reeves, 61, told E! News<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Longtime collaborator Meyers, 75, shared a lengthy tribute to her friend on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Well, with Diane, I believe we mutually had that. I always felt she really got me, so writing for her made me better because I felt so secure in her hands. I knew how vulnerable she could be. And I knew how hilarious she could be, not only with dialogue (which she said word for word as written but managed to always make it sound improvised) but she could be funny sitting at a dinner table or just walking into a room.\u201d<\/p>\n
