\t\t<\/p>\n In an alternate universe, Jennifer Aniston<\/strong><\/a> could have been a cast member on Saturday Night Live<\/strong><\/a><\/em> instead of starring on Friends <\/em>and she\u2019s looking back on her decision to turn down the job.<\/p>\n The 56-year-old actress opened up about turning down SNL <\/em>while chatting with friend Dax Shepard<\/strong><\/a> on the Armchair Expert <\/em>podcast.<\/p>\n \u201cI always thought I was such hot s\u2014. The story of that is all very confusing,\u201d Jennifer <\/strong>began.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHonestly, today I\u2019d have to ask Lorne, because I remember, I was in New York City, and I had a meeting with Lorne Michaels, and I ran into [Adam] Sandler and [David] Spade in the room right outside. And I knew Sandler forever,\u201d she added (via People<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n Jennifer<\/strong> knew Adam <\/strong>even before she was on Friends because \u201che was very good friends with Charlie Schlatter<\/strong>, who played Ferris Bueller in the television version of Ferris Bueller\u2019s Day Off<\/em>. So we met at Jerry\u2019s Deli in like 1912.\u201d <\/p>\n Jennifer<\/strong> appeared in the short-lived TV series from 1990-1991. <\/p>\n It was Jennifer<\/strong>\u2018s belief that SNL <\/em>was a male-dominated environment that turned her off from the show.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know why I had this self-righteous attitude of \u2018I don\u2019t know if women are treated the way they should be treated on this show.\u2019 It\u2019s a very male-dominated [show,] I would love to be here if it was in the Gilda Radner day,\u201d she said. \u201cI mean, this is the brain that semi-remembers things that are back that far. Something like that. I can\u2019t remember, but I just remember Friends <\/em>then happened.\u201d <\/p>\n In the same interview, Jennifer <\/strong>explained why she never adopted children<\/a>. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
