(Image Credit: YouTube)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cI went in there angry, and sort of not really open-minded, just more so doing it because everyone told me I\u2019d regret it [if I didn\u2019t],\u201d Kailyn said on a previous podcast installment, adding that she \u201chad all these conflicting feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lowry seemed grateful that her dad \u201clet me ask every single question I had\u201d during this get-together, although he seemed \u201cwinded\u201d from talking so much.<\/p>\n
Continued Kailyn upon describing this emotional meeting back then:<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are no questions I wish I had asked that I didn\u2019t ask. There were no answers I wasn\u2019t satisfied with I feel lighter, I feel more at peace. I feel forgiveness for him. I think all my anger was very misplaced. \u201cMy aunt called and I was like, \u2018Let me answer\u2019 because she doesn\u2019t really call me,\u201d Kail told listeners. \u201cI answer and I don\u2019t think she even said \u2018Good morning\u2019 or anything. It was, \u2018Your dad passed away.\u2019 He passed away that morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was exactly two Mondays after I saw him\u2026 I saw him on September 15th and he died on the 29th.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kailyn said she had only begun to \u201cprocess everything that occurred\u201d during her trip to see her father and did not know how to handle the news that Ray was now dead.<\/p>\nKailyn Lowry has no regrets about her time on Teen Mom. (MTV)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\u201cI was going back and forth on even going to go see him and stuff like that,\u201d she explained. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the day I went to visit him with my sister and my aunt, I was driving there with the \u2018F-ck you\u2019 mentality. I get to the door, and then I cry for the entire two-hour visit. By the end of it, I know that he said that I still looked mad. At the end of the visit, that\u2019s what he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I said, \u2018I don\u2019t want to be mad. But you have to think about, this is 30 years of what I thought was a betrayal. I thought you didn\u2019t care about me, just to learn that you tried [to be in my life].\u2019 <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s like, it\u2019s going to take some time to process this and, I don\u2019t know, really come to terms with it.\u201d<\/p>\n
As it turns out, according to Raymond, Lowry\u2019s mom had lied about his past and he actually had<\/em> wanted to be more involved in his daughter\u2019s life.<\/p>\n\u201cI thought that I was going to have one more visit in me, in him,\u201d she said on Friday. <\/p>\n
\u201cLike I thought I would go down [to see him] one more time by the end of the year. I softened up enough to think about, \u2018OK, I might go down one more time before he passes.\u2019 And I never got a chance in those two weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
