An indoor cycling instructor is recalling the late Diane Keaton<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s unusual workout attire in the wake of her shocking death<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I got a text this morning about Diane Keaton passing I was hoping it wasn\u2019t true,\u201d Adam Goldstein, who used to teach in Los Angeles but is now an instructor in Idaho, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Saturday, October 11.<\/p>\n

\u201cBack when I taught cycling at flywheel West Hollywood she would take my class almost every Saturday with her daughter,\u201d he added. \u201cShe was one of the kindest, funniest and down to earth people I have ever met in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cEveryone was very much aware that she was in the room. Of course because of who she was. But also for the fact that she did the class in her hat, sunglasses, pinstriped outfit, and was an absolute riot the entire time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDiane Keaton was the ultimate style icon, both on and off the screen. With her turtlenecks, thick belts, tinted eyewear and bowler hats, the beloved actress \u2014 who died at the age of 79 in October 2025 \u2014 pulled off an array of legendary black-and-white and monochromatic looks that, truthfully, only she could. \u201cI still [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The instructor went on to explain that when living in Hollywood, it\u2019s not uncommon to \u201cmeet someone you admire\u201d only to have that person \u201clet you down.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut she was even more endearing in person than on screen which doesn\u2019t even seem possible,\u201d he continued. \u201cMy heart goes out right now to her family and friends. And we all lost a living legend today.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded, \u201cSo Diane, thank you for bringing joy into so many people\u2019s homes. And thank you [for] bringing so much joy into a spin studio on Santa Monica blvd in West Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

A spokesperson confirmed to People<\/em> on Saturday that Keaton died in California. She was 79. No additional information regarding her death has been made public and her family has asked for privacy while they mourn her loss.<\/p>\n

While Keaton was known for her many memorable performances<\/a> \u2014 from her roles in The Godfather<\/em> and Father of the Bride<\/em> to Something\u2019s Gotta Give<\/em> and The First Wives Club<\/em> \u2014 the late actress was also a fashion icon.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an honor! Why me? I\u2019ve been so fortunate and lucky,\u201d Keaton told Vogue<\/em> of her status as a fashionista. \u201cAnd I do love clothes; I love looking at them. I buy all the magazines, and I\u2019m constantly cutting pages of things that I find interesting \u2014 a Dior outfit, hats, or how people decorate their homes. I\u2019m an addict.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keaton was particularly known for her affinity for turtlenecks \u2014 which she considered to be \u201cunderrated\u201d \u2014 as well as her extensive hat and scarf collection.<\/p>\n
