EU’s new biometric border checks are starting to go live<\/p>\n

what that means: visitors are gonna use e-gates to scan their passport & take a picture and will no longer see a border agent<\/p>\n

\u201cThe EES (Entry\/Exit System) will gradually replace passport stamps with a digital system that records when travellers enter and exit, making border checks faster and helping staff to work more efficiently\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

this applies to everyone entering the EU on a not EU passport<\/p>\n
