Over the course of her career, Diane Keaton also won a BAFTA Award, two Golden Globes (Annie Hall<\/em> and 2003’s Something’s Gotta Give<\/em>) , and a Tony Award, among other honors. She was also well known as a style icon for her trendsetting mix of traditionally masculine garb in unexpected proportions. “When you think of Diane, you think of these great pieces of clothing,” designer Michael Kors<\/strong> said of Keaton<\/a> in 2014.<\/p>\n

Keaton was also a photographer and writer, penning memoirs Then Again<\/em>, Brother & Sister<\/em>, and Let’s Just Say It Wasn’t Pretty<\/em>. Speaking with Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> in support of the latter book, Keaton said that her most marked characteristic was \u201cInsecurity in conjunction with ambition.\u201d When asked what her favorite occupation was, she responded \u201cSeeing. As Walker Evans said, \u2018Look! We don\u2019t have that much time.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
