David Henrie<\/strong><\/a> is answering a much-asked question about the Wizards of Waverly Place<\/strong><\/a><\/em> sequel series!<\/p>\n The 36-year-old has reprised his role as Justin Russo as a series regular on Wizards Beyond Waverly Place<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, as well as an executive producer, with his past co-stars Selena Gomez<\/strong><\/a>, David DeLuise<\/strong><\/a> and Maria Canals-Barrera<\/strong><\/a> also reprising their roles in the first two seasons. <\/p>\n In a recent interview, David<\/strong> revealed if Jake T Austin<\/strong><\/a>, who starred in the original series as the youngest sibling Max Russo, would ever make an appearance on Wizards Beyond<\/em>. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While appearing on Zach Sang Show<\/a><\/em>, David<\/strong> was asked if he ever talks to Jake<\/strong>, or if he\u2019s ever been worried about him. <\/p>\n \u201cI mean, look, you know, the show ended and everyone kind of went their separate ways. You konw, a show is like a high school or college. Movies are that way too. You spend so much time together, you get to know people so well and then you go your separate ways,\u201d David <\/strong>said. \u201cYou know, he lives in a different part of the United States. We\u2019d all get together every so often. You know, I think maybe almost yearly or every other year. We\u2019d get the whole cast back together and hang out.\u201d<\/p>\n David<\/strong> then noted that he knew Jake<\/strong> cleared his Instagram, but he wants \u201cthe absolute freaking best for him.\u201d <\/p>\n He then shared, \u201cI want him back on the show. I\u2019d love to get him back on the show! I\u2019ve let him know we want it to happen, and I think next season if, you know, we continue, if that continues to work out well, hell yeah, we\u2019d get him back on. That\u2019s the hope. I\u2019d love to get him back on next season.\u201d<\/p>\n In season one, it was revealed that Jake<\/strong>\u2018s character Max took over the family business and turned it into a billion dollar business by franchising the Waverly Sub Station. It has also been shared that he lives on a yacht houseboat on the Long Island Sound. <\/p>\n It was previously thought that Jake<\/strong> would appear <\/a>on the new show after he commented on a reunion photo of his co-stars in season one.<\/p>\n Also on Zach Sang Show<\/em>, David<\/strong> revealed another actor from the original series they tried to bring back \u2013 Octavia Spencer<\/strong><\/a>, who played Dr. Evilini, whose son appeared in Wizards Beyond <\/em>season one!<\/p>\n \u201cWe wanted to try to get her back. We tried to get her back for the first season.
