James<\/a>, 10, Inez, nine, and Betty, six, along with Olin, who was born in 2022. <\/p>\nRyan has now joked raising three girls had been \u201cso easy\u201d compared to handling a little boy who \u201chas to break everything\u201d.also admitted he has some reservations about raising boys after growing up in a household full of them.<\/p>\n
Ryan made the comments during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, while chatting about how his boy Olin , two, had brought a new kind of chaos into the family\u2019s previously calm home.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWe live in a very, like, there\u2019s nothing violent in our home. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThere\u2019s nothing creepy. (But Olin) came out with three things on his mind. It was violence, breasts and engines.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI really don\u2019t understand where this comes from. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf I had like three boys at first, I would never \u2014 there\u2019s no way. I would give myself a punching vasectomy. Like, there\u2019s no way I would allow that to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHost Seth Meyers asked whether his daughters had any thoughts about the family\u2019s new dynamic. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cDo the girls collectively feel it\u2019s an HR issue that you\u2019ve added a boy to the family?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRyan laughed and replied: \u201cI do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cI\u2019m like in direct competition with this young man. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cNo, he\u2019s \u2013 I\u2019m the youngest of four boys and boy do I feel for my mom. You know, like, I really do. My dad, meh. But my mom really.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRyan also recalled his own chaotic upbringing with his parents, Tammy Reynolds and James \u2018Jim\u2019 Chester Reynolds, and his three older brothers, Jeff, Jerry and Patrick. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cDo you know how many times my brothers had me exit a room not through the door?<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was a moving target that they would use. You know cops, what they would use when they\u2019re breaking into the place with a battering ram \u2013 that was my head. I was the ram.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe also said growing up as the youngest of four boys made him unusually resourceful. <\/p>\n
\nRyan added: \u201cWhen I was eight, I\u2019m not making this up. I knew how to patch drywall. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat right there says a lot. Like I knew how to literally \u2013 a hole in the wall, I could repair that in less than six minutes before my dad got home perfectly. Like spackle, sand, and paint, we\u2019re good.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe actor has previously spoken about how fatherhood changed him, telling The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018 it had made him \u201ca better person\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cIt\u2019s a dream. They\u2019re the best. They\u2019re my buddies. I love it.\u201d<\/p>\n
