Danielle Fishel is set to reunite with a former co-star<\/p>\n
The 44-year-old actress has revealed that she’s set to appear alongside William Daniels – who played Mr. Feeny on the hit TV sitcom – for her next appearance on Dancing with the Stars.<\/p>\n
Speaking on her Danielle With the Stars podcast, the actress shared: “Mr. Feeny himself is going to be on the ballroom floor with me.”<\/p>\n
Danielle explained that her former co-star is “going to participate in the dance”.<\/p>\n
Danielle revealed that the dance is dedicated to her former co-star and “the role Boy Meets World has played in [her] life”.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “Saying it out loud feels crazy. But yes, we get to dance to the Boy Meets World theme song, the one you all know and love.”<\/p>\n
\nDanielle was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024, and after undergoing treatment, she jumped at the chance to join Dancing with the Stars.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress explained how her health scare prompted a change in attitude.<\/p>\n
\nShe previously told People: “The minute I was done with my cancer treatment, I thought to myself, \u2018If this has shown me anything, it has shown me that I am not experiencing enough joy in my life.'”<\/p>\n
\nDanielle is now determined to have more “fun” in her day-to-day life.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress – who is best known for playing Topanga Lawrence in Boy Meets World – said: “I’m going through every day, performing tasks and being there for my family and being there for work. Where’s the fun?<\/p>\n
\n“When they asked me to do this, I was like, \u2018This is the perfect way to cap it off.'”<\/p>\n
\nPrior to that, Danielle admitted that her cancer diagnosis consumed her entire life at one point in time.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress told People in 2024: “It’s like, ‘Wow. Even for cancer that was found at stage zero, my whole life has changed’.<\/p>\n
\n“My life has become many doctor’s appointments and constantly checking up. And it’ll be monitoring side effects.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n“It’s not fun, but it is what it is. And with all that said, I’m very fortunate and I’m going to live, which is the most important thing.”<\/p>\n
