More than five months after Stephen \u201ctWitch\u201d Boss<\/a> died at age 40 in December 2022, a new autopsy and police report is providing more details about his death.<\/p>\n Shortly after the So You Think You Can Dance<\/em> alum\u2019s death, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that he died by suicide<\/a> via a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. According to the new autopsy and police report, obtained by Us Weekly<\/em> on Wednesday, May 24, no drugs or alcohol were found in Boss\u2019 system at the time of his death.<\/p>\n The documents also revealed that Boss\u2019 widow, Allison Holker<\/strong><\/a>, who married the Alabama native in 2013, told officers that \u201cto her knowledge, [Boss] does not have a history of suicide attempts or suicidal ideation.\u201d Holker, 35, also told law enforcement at the time that her husband did \u201cnot have any mental health problems [and] does not have any financial issues or marital problems.\u201d<\/p>\n The Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/em> DJ was found dead<\/a> on December 13, 2022, at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, California. Earlier this month, Holker gave her first televised interview<\/a> since losing her husband.<\/p>\n \u201cI still feel like the rest of the world<\/a> where I\u2019m still shocked,\u201d the dancer told Hoda Kotb<\/strong> <\/a>during an emotional Today<\/em> show appearance. \u201cNo one\u2019s ready for that moment and there\u2019s no one that saw this coming. No one \u2014 and that breaks my heart too.\u201d<\/p>\n The Minnesota native said it was \u201cso sad\u201d that none of her late husband\u2019s loved ones knew he was suffering. \u201cHe wanted to be the strong one for everyone, and I think that was a little scary for him to think that he might need to ask for help,\u201d she explained. \u201cHe was so much love and light. He really wanted to be everyone\u2019s Superman and he said that a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to managing her own grief, Holker has been struggling to explain Boss\u2019 death to their three children<\/a>. The duo shared son Maddox, 7, and daughter Zaia, 3. Boss also adopted Holker\u2019s 14-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Weslie, after they exchanged vows.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s been some really hard<\/a> conversations. To us, Daddy\u2019s in the stars. So, we can go outside and talk to him whenever we want. \u2026 They just ask, \u2018When is Daddy coming back?\u2019 and that\u2019s a really hard one,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n The choreographer admitted that she initially wondered whether she had \u201cmissed\u201d a clue to how much her husband was struggling. \u201cI eventually had to tell myself, I can\u2019t change anything that\u2019s happened,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t allow myself to be in a place of anger or sadness, though I allow myself to feel it.
