Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> might have conquered the world but that doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019ll find her rocketing into space \u2014 she\u2019s horrified by the idea.<\/p>\n In an interview with BBC Radio 2\u2019s Scott Mills<\/strong><\/a> on Monday, October 6, Swift was asked if she would like to follow in her old rival Katy Perry<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s footsteps by taking a trip to space. When Mills asked Mariah Carey<\/strong> the same question earlier this year, he was met with the now iconic words \u201cI\u2019ve done enough\u201d \u2014\u00a0but Swift stayed a little less cool.<\/p>\n \u201cNever!\u201d she said, looking horrified. \u201cWhy would I do that? There\u2019s no reason to do that. I don\u2019t want to do that, ever. I never \u2026 oh my God, no!\u201d<\/p>\n She elaborated, \u201cIt\u2019s cold, it\u2019s scary, I don\u2019t know if I can come back down. If I go, no one will believe I went. It doesn\u2019t matter if you go, because everyone thinks you didn\u2019t go, or they have a weird take on it. I have no fascination.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cBut thank you for asking! I don\u2019t know why I just completely freaked out, it was like I thought you were going to make me go.\u201d<\/p>\n So, it\u2019s official \u2014\u00a0you won\u2019t find Taylor Swift in space, like, ever. There will be no Life of a Spacewoman<\/em> or Tortured Astronauts Department<\/em>, and any Martians hoping to catch the Eras tour hitting up their planet will be sadly disappointed.<\/p>\n In the interview to promote her new album, The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>, Swift also presented Mills with a loaf of lemon and blueberry sourdough bread that she had baked, after Mills was impressed by a previous guest on his show, Swift\u2019s good friend Zoe Kravitz<\/strong>, telling him about Swift\u2019s talent for baking.<\/p>\n Swift also shut down fan speculation that she might stop making albums after she marries fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cThat\u2019s a shockingly offensive thing to say,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s not why people get married, so they can quit their job. It\u2019s like, I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do, and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cThat\u2019s the coolest thing about Travis; he\u2019s so passionate about what he does that me being passionate about what I do, it connects.\u201d<\/p>\n
