Alyvia Alyn Lind<\/b> is beyond proud of her sister, <\/span>Emily Alyn Lind<\/b>, who stars in the hit Prime Video series, <\/span>We Were Liars<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n In a recent interview with <\/span>Entertainment Tonight<\/span><\/i><\/a>, Alyvia praised both her sister and the series for the emotional depth it brought to viewers.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOk no, that is a show that needs therapy after. If anything that is it. I knew the entire story and I literally don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever sobbed harder in my entire life than watching the end of that show,\u201d she admitted.<\/span><\/p>\n She went on to gush over Emily\u2019s work. \u201cI\u2019m so insanely proud of her and the rest of that cast. And yeah, I\u2019m just so excited for the future of that show as well. It\u2019s been an amazing year.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The sisters\u2019 mother, <\/span>Barbara Alyn Woods<\/b> is an actress as well, most well known for her role as Deb Scott in the popular tv series, <\/span>One Tree Hill<\/span><\/i>. The 63-year-old actress recently opened up about her new boyfriend, <\/span>Mark Anderson<\/b>, a former contestant on <\/span>The Golden Bachelor<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In an interview with <\/span>People<\/span><\/i>, Woods discussed how she discovered him saying, \u201cHis daughter was on <\/span>The Bachelor<\/span><\/i>. Her name\u2019s Kelsey. She\u2019s beautiful, she\u2019s wonderful, all of his kids are. At the end of <\/span>The Bachelor<\/span><\/i>, they go to their hometown. They take the Bachelor home to meet their family. And Mark was there being all cute and dimply and sweet and like, \u2018Who\u2019s that guy?\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The star then DM\u2019ed Mark on Instagram and the rest is history. \u201cBy the time he got kicked off, he had already responded to me. We started talking through social media, then you go to the next step, texting, and then you go the next step and you talk. We started talking, and it\u2019s been nonstop.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Alyvia is making headlines too, most recently starring in Netflix\u2019s <\/span>Wayward<\/span><\/i>, which quickly rose to the number one spot of the platform\u2019s global rankings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Emily, meanwhile, has been candid about how she first landed the role of Cadence in <\/span>We Were Liars<\/span><\/i>. In an interview with <\/span>People<\/span><\/i><\/a>, the 23-year-old revealed that she had submitted a self-tape almost on a whim, without much expectation.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI just took a chance. I thought, \u2018Okay, this is never going to be me, I\u2019m never going to get this.\u2019 But I took a chance and I put it on tape because that\u2019s what we do. And of course, it\u2019s the ones that you never think you\u2019re going to get that they were like, \u2018Of course, yeah, we would love to meet with you,\u2019\u201d Emily explained.<\/span><\/p>\n The breakout star also said, \u201cI don\u2019t see myself as this girl who\u2019s innocent at all. I see myself as this person that\u2019s loud, obnoxious, annoying. So, really, I\u2019m going to be the protagonist in this show?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAnd then there was just all these people auditioning, all these things. And I was like, \u2018I\u2019m still not going to get it. I\u2019m not sweet. I\u2019m not like this. I\u2019m not the pretty girl. I\u2019m not going to get it.\u2019 And then I did.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Lind later mentioned how much she loves <\/span>We Were Liars<\/span><\/i><\/a> saying that the story is \u201cabsolutely balls to the wall, soapy, fun, dramatic [and] unafraid of itself,\u201d and that it\u2019s \u201csomething that knows what it is.
