Kaia Gerber<\/strong><\/a> is finally opening up about her romance with Lewis Pullman<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The model and actress, 24, got candid on the October 1 episode of the \u201cTherapuss With Jake Shane\u201d podcast, where she admitted, \u201cDefinitely a lot is being healed in this relationship.\u201d Host Jake Shane chimed in that Kaia and the Top Gun: Maverick star, 32, \u201care healthy\u201d together, prompting Gerber to gush, \u201cI\u2019m gonna cry!\u201d<\/p>\n For Kaia, what makes her relationship with Lewis different is that it grew out of friendship. \u201cI really feel like if you have the opportunity to date a friend, do it, because it just is so much better,\u201d she explained. \u201cI never wanna fight with my friends. I never wanna be mad at my friends. I respect my friends. It just is like a whole other thing, and I think sometimes you forget you like someone when you love them.\u201d<\/p>\n She doubled down on her dating advice, adding, \u201cIf you can date your friends, you should, or date someone that you would be friends with anyways. Don\u2019t just date someone because you\u2019re sexually attracted to them or in lust with them. You should sleep with those people, for sure, but you don\u2019t need to make them your partners.\u201d<\/p>\n Before Lewis, Kaia\u2019s dating history made headlines thanks to her high-profile romances with Pete Davidson<\/strong>, Jacob Elordi<\/strong>, and most recently, Austin Butler<\/strong>. Looking back, she admitted she often lost herself in those relationships. \u201cI would completely just change my personality and my values for someone. I always dated people that were older than me, so I was very willing to give up everything,\u201d she confessed. \u201cI was like, \u2018I can show you I love you by completely giving up my life for you,\u2019 which is actually not how you build respect and trust, and is not good in the long run.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBecause then you start to bring a little bit more of who you really are into the relationship and they\u2019re like, \u2018No, I liked that person before,\u2019\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Kaia and Lewis first sparked romance rumors in late 2024, and a source later confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> that \u201cthey started dating in early December.
