Longtime HGTV host Christina Haack<\/strong> is opening up about her failed third marriage to realtor Josh Hall<\/strong>, which was documented throughout the first season of her renovation competition series, Flip Off<\/em>.<\/p>\n Haack and Hall were married for just under three years, from October 2021 to July 2024, shortly after her divorce from British television presenter Ant Antstead <\/strong>was finalized. The 42-year-old was also married to her Flip or Flop<\/em> co-host Tarek El Moussa<\/strong> from 2009 through 2018.<\/p>\n Now, Haack says she\u2019s learned is not to rush into things.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be honest, the first time he proposed, I said no and he threw the ring in the pool. There are red flags there, and I\u2019m going to blame myself for most of these,\u201d she told People<\/a> in an interview posted to Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI felt a lot of pressure. It\u2019s, you know, a whirlwind. At the time, that felt normal to me, and that has been my past.\u201d<\/p>\n Haack clarified that while she was used to \u201cquick courting,\u201d the relationship didn\u2019t feel right even then because he would make her feel bad about things.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd it\u2019s constant, it was constantly like that during our relationship,\u201d she explained. \u201cThis whole thing makes me as a mom and a woman feel bad, to be honest, and feel a little strange that I, for whatever reason, allowed that to go on so long.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOf course, at the beginning of the relationship, you know, things are, things are great, but I\u2019ve learned a lot more about red flags and rushing into things, and a ton about rushing into things,\u201d Haack continued. \u201cAnd yeah, things are great for the first year, but after that, it steadily was not so great.\u201d<\/p>\n She and Hall appeared in just one episode of Flip Off<\/em> together. The premise of the series was for the couple to face off in home renovations against Tarek and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa<\/strong>. However instead, their breakup was documented in the series premiere. Haack said that a big factor in their split was that it wasn\u2019t easy for Hall to suddenly find himself in the spotlight.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, even me being in this, it can be strange at times, and you\u2019re compared to other people and all of a sudden you\u2019re, you\u2019re on TV or you\u2019re not on TV,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s just, I think it was too much for him and it weighed on him.\u201d<\/p>\n
