Travis Kelce isn’t a fan of birthdays<\/p>\n
\nThe Kansas City Chiefs tight end will turn 36 on 5 October but he isn’t planning on doing much celebrating because he finds such occasions “annoying”.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking to brother Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast, he said: \u201cIt\u2019s not a good day, it\u2019s just an annoying day for me.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI don\u2019t want to get into the Grinch of birthdays but I\u2019m just not in on birthdays.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJason briefly mused over the stats for Travis’ games during his birthday week but his sibling shut down the conversation.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI don’t think we should look that up, because I don’t think they’re very good.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? host proposed to girlfriend Taylor Swift in August and he recently admitted he cried when he popped the question.<\/p>\n
\nIn an interview with Fox Sports, he said: “She can tell the story. The palms were definitely sweating. <\/p>\n
\n“I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there. But it’s been an exciting ride up to this day, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”<\/p>\n
\nTravis believes having Taylor, 35, in his life for the last two years has made him a “better person”.<\/p>\n
\nHe gushed: “She has brought excitement and a joy for life that made me a better man, made me a better person, and made me just that much more comfortable in who I am.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Travis explained that his life has been “fun” since he started dating Taylor despite the increased scrutiny on him.<\/p>\n
\nHe said in a press conference: “I would say, ever since I’ve been dating Taylor life has been fun … It’s been exciting.<\/p>\n
\n“Obviously a lot more eyes and I accept that, but I’m living life. Living on a high, I guess.”<\/p>\n
\nKelce also joked about his engagement to Swift.<\/p>\n
\nThe three-time Super Bowl ring winner quipped: “I got one more ring from it… Well, two if we’re counting the first Super Bowl.”<\/p>\n
