The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox<\/em>\u2018s Grace Van Patten<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out about her boyfriend<\/a>, Jackson White<\/strong><\/a>, and revealing why she actually didn\u2019t like him when they first met!<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t know, the 28-year-old actress and 29-year-old actor co-star as toxic lovers in the hit Hulu series Tell Me Lies<\/em><\/strong>, and they actually started dating before production began<\/a> on the series.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n During her appearance on \u201cCall Her Daddy,\u201d<\/a> Grace<\/strong> explained why she didn\u2019t initially like him when they met on a Zoom audition for the series. <\/p>\n Grace<\/strong> shared, \u201cI have the job. And we\u2019re in the process of like Zooming with guys and like reading scenes with them and like Jackson, I had heard like was the favorite. So I\u2019m like excited for his thing and he gets on and I\u2019ve told him this that I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, this is like a serious actor, like actor-y actor.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cSo I was just like, \u2018Oh God.\u2019 But he was so good and I was like, \u2018All right, it\u2019s fine. Maybe we won\u2019t get along. But like, he\u2019s perfect for the part and he\u2019s so talented and great.\u2019 And so I was like, it was half really excited that like we found the Stephen but the other, I was just like, kind of rolled my eyes a little bit. And then we met in person for the next round and he was like, it was like a completely different energy. And he just told me, he was like really nervous for the Zoom and he was just like, and now I know him so well and I know that part of him and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s what I was seeing.\u2019 But it really took me to meet him in person to be like, this guy\u2019s the best.\u201d<\/p>\n She then confirmed, \u201cWe start dating before the job.\u201d<\/p>\n She shared how they first started dating, saying, \u201cI kept thinking about him and I couldn\u2019t tell if it was like, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m so excited, that like, I couldn\u2019t tell yet, I couldn\u2019t tell if it was like a crush or like a career exciting thing.\u2019 And then I remember hearing my friend\u2019s boyfriend was working with him on another movie and we decided after they finished that movie, we were all gonna have dinner\u2026We vibed instantly.\u201d<\/p>\n She then said they both acknowledged that they were into one another. \u201cWe sat on a stoop for I think like six hours and talked about every reason why we should not act on this. And then I kissed him,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n She also shared that no one on set knew they were together, but \u201cit was pretty quick\u201d that the cast found out. She explained, \u201cThe cast knew pretty immediately because we all hang out to like get to know each other\u2026they knew right away and then people just caught on. There was never like, we never announced it.\u201d<\/p>\n Unfortunately, there may be some not-so-great news about Tell Me Lies<\/em><\/a>!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
