George Clooney<\/a> is no longer in a “rush to succeed”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Amal and George Clooney recently celebrated their anniversary<\/p>\n
The 64-year-old actor feels he’s already “had [his] career in many ways” and he’s now happy to put his family before his own interests and ambitions in the movie business.<\/p>\n
The Hollywood star – who has eight-year-old twins Ella and Alexander with his wife Amal – told Extra: “I\u2019m not in that mass rush to succeed anymore. <\/p>\n
“I\u2019ve had my career in many ways and you know things were winding down in a way, so I get to be home with my kids a lot and it\u2019s fun. I\u2019m still young enough that I can run around with them. That\u2019s going away quickly, but I can still do it right now.”<\/p>\n
George and Amal recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary, and the actor revealed how they marked the occasion.<\/p>\n
\nHe shared: “We had a nice dinner night before last.”<\/p>\n
\nAsked what the next 11 years will look like for the couple, George replied: “Mostly be me gumming bread because I\u2019m 64, so I\u2019ll be 75.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, George recently claimed that he’s been the “recipient of a lot of luck” in his life.<\/p>\n
\nThe actor believes he’s received a lot of good luck – but George also thinks that he’s created the “opportunity for luck”.<\/p>\n
\nHe told AARP: “I think the only life lesson is to bet on yourself. And when there\u2019s opportunities, you gotta go. <\/p>\n
\n“In my life, I have been the recipient of a lot of luck. But I also believe you create opportunity for luck. You create enough opportunity and, every once in a while, you\u2019ll hit one.”<\/p>\n
\nGeorge also strives to live a “really full life”, instead of worrying about potential problems.<\/p>\n
\nThe movie star said: “There\u2019s no rhyme or reason for who gets to age and who doesn\u2019t. So you should live as if you\u2019re not going to get to. And then, if you wake up one day and you\u2019re old, you\u2019ve lived a really full life.”<\/p>\n
