Zendaya<\/a> the day after his accident, on Instagram, and revealed he had left early but was now doing well.<\/p>\nHe captioned the post: “What a night! Another huge success. The Brother\u2019s Trust means more to me than I could possibly say and I have to say a huge thank you to my Mum and her wonderful friends for putting on another incredible night.<\/p>\n
“Raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it! I\u2019m sorry I had to leave early but I\u2019m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier.<\/p>\n
\n“Thank you to all our attendees and especially our winners of the sweepstakes. Thanks also to everyone worldwide who contributed to our sweeps, raising much-needed funds for some tremendous charities. “<\/p>\n
\nIt was recently claimed that Tom’s accident “wasn’t as bad” as initially thought.<\/p>\n
\nA source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column earlier this week: “The accident wasn\u2019t as bad as people think. A line snapped on a pull ring and he got a bump on his bonce.<\/p>\n
\n“Filming was supposed to start again in London on Thursday, but for now the production team have been told to stand down for two weeks.<\/p>\n
\n“Tom has been taking it easy as he had a suspected concussion and no one wants him to rush back to set.”<\/p>\n
\nThe publication reports the delay to the production will not affect the film’s release date, which is still set for July 31 2026.<\/p>\n
\nTom previously teased that Spider-Man: Brand New Day – which will see the return of Zendaya, 29, as Michelle \u2018MJ\u2019 Jones-Watson, and Jacob Batalon, 28, as Ned Leeds – would feel like a \u201cbreath of fresh air”, like his original 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming. <\/p>\n
\nHe told Flip Your Wig: \u201cIt\u2019s gonna feel like making [Spider-Man: Homecoming] again. It\u2019s been such a long time that I\u2019ve done it that it\u2019s gonna feel like a breath of fresh air. \u201cAnd I think the fans are gonna be over the moon with what we\u2019re putting together.”<\/p>\n
