\t\t<\/p>\n Dylan O\u2019Brien<\/strong><\/a> and James Sweeney<\/strong><\/a> pair up on the green carpet at the 2025 Zurich Film Festival<\/em><\/strong> on Saturday (September 27) in Zurich, Switzerland.<\/p>\n The co-stars attended a photo call for their movie Twinless<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, which James<\/strong> also wrote and directed. <\/p>\n While speaking with the festival on the carpet, James<\/strong> opened up about being on the film\u2019s journey with Dylan <\/strong>and casting him for this particular project. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou know, he\u2019s become a partner in crime. We met in 2020, and we didn\u2019t film until 2023 to 2024. We\u2019ve been on this road together for a long time,\u201d James<\/strong> shared, via the film festival\u2019s official Instagram <\/a>account. <\/p>\n He also spoke about casting Dylan<\/strong> in the film. <\/p>\n \u201cI used to work in casting as my day job. I believe that\u2019s 90% of what directing is, is picking the right person. I was familiar with his work, and I saw a lot of dramatic and comedic versatility in his filmography, but above that, I think what you\u2019re looking for is somebody who fits the role,\u201d the filmmaker said. \u201cI think he just understood the emotionality of both characters, and instilled so much confidence in how he understood my voice as a writer and a filmmaker, and I think that\u2019s all you can really ask for.\u201d<\/p>\n Also on the carpet, Dylan <\/strong>spoke about creating the movie and what it was like on set. <\/p>\n \u201cEveryone was really excited about what we were making, and that always feels good and adds a beautiful energy to set,\u201d Dylan<\/strong> said. \u201cIt felt like a really safe space, and in a way, that just enabled us to really execute vulnerably. Which is really important for something like this.\u201d <\/p>\n Twinless <\/em>was released in theaters earlier this month, and is set to be released on digital on October 6th.
