Secretary Clinton joined her predecessors to have their portraits hung at the seventh floor of the State Department. <span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Photo by Alex Wong\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Clinton appeared on MSNBC\u2019s Morning Joe on Wednesday, and her comments about the current state of the nation rubbed some viewers the wrong way.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, I love my country, and I love it, you know \u2014 warts and all,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/hillary-clinton-latest-low-vile-174512815.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clinton said<\/a>, adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019m proud of the fact that we have always been a work in progress. I wonder if she referring to Charlie Kirk?\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bdj1864278\/status\/1971333284886946133\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote one X user<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These are, of course, very divisive times in the US.<\/p>\n<p>But there are occasional glimmers of hope for better days ahead.<\/p>\n<p>For example, Clinton eschewed the discord inherent in modern politics when she praised President Donald Trump for recent remarks in which he expressed optimism about Ukraine\u2019s chances of winning its war against Russia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI welcomed what the President said yesterday,\u201d Clinton said, referring to a Truth Social post in which Trump wrote that Ukraine \u201cis in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It might be a rather small step in the right direction \u2014 but at least it points to a future in which politicians of different parties can once again find common ground from time to time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/09\/hillary-clinton-slammed-for-criticizing-white-men-of-a-certain-religion-following-charlie-kirk-murder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading Time: 3 minutes It\u2019s been two weeks since Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a speaking engagement at a Utah college.
