Danielle Fishel<\/strong><\/a> learned the show must go on while battling an injury<\/a> on Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> season 34.<\/p>\n

The Boy Meets World<\/em> alum, 44, revealed in rehearsal footage shown during the Tuesday, September 23, episode that she suffered a \u201chamstring tear\u201d earlier in the competition. She later went for a deep tissue massage, which \u201cbroke every blood vessel in the back of [her] leg.\u201d Photos were shown of the bruising on her thigh as Fishel confessed, \u201cI am pushing through the pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite her injury, Fishel and pro Pasha Pashkov<\/strong> gave their all in a cha-cha to \u201cThe Rhythm of the Night\u201d by Corona, earning 19 points out of 30.<\/p>\n

Following the double elimination \u2014 Baron Davis<\/strong> and Britt Stewart<\/strong> were sent home<\/a>, along with Corey Feldman<\/strong> and Jenna Johnson<\/strong> \u2014 Fishel exclusively opened up to Us Weekly<\/em> about the \u201cbiggest challenge\u201d of working through an injury.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what, it\u2019s been the care I\u2019ve had to put into taking care of myself morning, afternoon and evening,\u201d she explained. \u201cLike, when you are nursing an injury, you have to alternate ice and heat, and I have to elevate, and I\u2019ve had to compress, and I\u2019ve had to have PT two to three times a week.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress went to great lengths to ensure she was fit to perform. \u201cI had to meet with a surgeon to see if I needed surgery on top of an already kind of grueling rehearsal schedule,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cTo find time to take care of myself has been, probably, the biggest challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for Pashkov, 39, he kept a close eye on his partner during rehearsals. \u201cGoing into this week, we already knew that the leg is struggling a little bit. So to begin with, we already did the choreo[graphy] in such a way that it doesn\u2019t really affect the right leg at all,\u201d he noted. \u201cBut even throughout the week, we were just thinking of simplifying some things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Once Fishel got cleared by her doctor to dance, the pair knew they could go full speed ahead. \u201cShe\u2019s like, \u2018Now let\u2019s keep [the dance] exactly the way it is,’\u201d Pashkov told Us<\/em>. \u201cSo I\u2019m just asking her to listen to her body and we go based off of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tDanielle Fishel is ready to conquer the Dancing With the Stars ballroom after completing breast cancer treatment. \u201cWhen the call came in, it was like the fastest \u2018yes\u2019 ever,\u201d Fishel, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, September 3. \u201cAfter last year having cancer, I just realized, like, \u2018I\u2019m not having enough fun,\u2019 or \u2018I\u2019m [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The twosome received positive feedback<\/a> from the judges, including Carrie Ann Inaba<\/strong>, who praised Fishel\u2019s \u201cnaturalness\u201d on the dance floor. Inaba, 57, also reminded Fishel to breathe while she\u2019s dancing. Bruno Tonioli<\/strong>, for his part, told Fishel to be aware of her shoulders \u2014 a note she\u2019s taking to heart.<\/p>\n
