Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong><\/a> returned to ABC on Tuesday night (September 23) with a new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n During the 57-year-old late night host\u2019s opening monologue, he thanked those who have supported him over the past week, called out Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> and FCC Chairman Brendan Carr <\/strong>for violating his free speech, and even got choked up while talking about Charlie Kirk<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs I was saying before I was interrupted,\u201d he started off his monologue, before saying they were preempting Celebrity Family Feud<\/em> to air his show, which lead to cheers and a standing ovation from the studio audience.<\/p>\n He then joked that he wasn\u2019t sure who had a weirder past 48 hours, him or the CEO of Tylenol, referring to the Trump<\/strong> administration\u2019s claim<\/a> that the OTC drug caused autism when taken while pregnant. <\/p>\n Jimmy<\/strong> also thanked his fellow late night hosts, past and present for their support over the past week, including Stephen Colbert<\/strong><\/a>, Jon Stewart<\/strong><\/a>, Seth Meyers<\/strong><\/a>, Jimmy Fallon<\/strong><\/a>, Jay Leno<\/strong><\/a>, Conan O\u2019Brian<\/strong><\/a> and David Letterman<\/strong><\/a>, as well as late night hosts from other countries.<\/p>\n He even thanked the audience and those who don\u2019t agree with his views or what he\u2019s said but stood up for his right to free speech, like Ben Shapiro<\/strong><\/a>, Candace Owens<\/strong><\/a> and Ted Cruz<\/strong><\/a>, before playing audio from a recent Cruz<\/strong> interview<\/a>. <\/p>\n \n
