One step at a time.\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>star Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a> opened up about how she is moving on from her tumultuous split from ex-boyfriend\u00a0Tom Sandoval<\/b><\/a>\u00a0after his affair with her former friend\u00a0Raquel Leviss<\/b><\/a>\u00a0was uncovered.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhen this first happened, I really thought, \u2018I don\u2019t know how I can trust anyone again,\u201d the Bravolebrity, 37, told\u00a0People<\/i><\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday, May 23. \u201cA friend of mine \u2014 about 10, 11 days after I found out \u2014 encouraged me not to lose that part of myself; to still see the good in people, and to trust people, and to be loyal to my friends and my relationships. And I was kind of like, \u2018Yeah, I don\u2019t know about that.\u2019\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However, Ariana explained that hearing the same sentiment \u201cfrom others too\u201d has \u201creally helped [her] move forward.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m getting there, at my own pace,\u201d she added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0Fancy AF Cocktails<\/i>\u00a0coauthor split from the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras lead singer, 40, in early March after nine years of dating because he was having an affair<\/a> with Raquel, 28,\u00a0Life & Style\u00a0<\/a><\/i>confirmed at the time. During the season 10 finale episode, which aired on May 17, Ariana revealed that she discovered a screen recording of a FaceTime call between Tom and Raquel that was saved to his camera roll.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Since her breakup with Tom, Ariana has moved on with fitness coach\u00a0Daniel Wai<\/b><\/a>, whom she was first spotted making out with during the first weekend of Coachella in April. Not only that, but the\u00a0Buying Back My Daughter\u00a0<\/i>actress\u00a0moved out<\/a> of her and Tom\u2019s shared home in Valley Village, California<\/a>\u00a0on Monday, May 22.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Despite the difficulty surrounding her highly publicized split and the Schwartz & Sandy\u2019s co-owner\u2019s cheating scandal, Ariana has had the support from her\u00a0VPR<\/i>\u00a0castmates and from most of the public, which she explained in her recent interview.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a pretty long and very incredible, mind-blowing list of people who have spoken out about it or even just have, like, any knowledge of any of it at all,\u201d she explained, adding, \u201cAnd I swear, every single time, my jaw is on the floor, and it\u2019s me and my friends in our group chat being like, \u2018Are you freaking kidding me?
