I can\u2019t believe I don\u2019t get to see my cast mates, my beautiful cast in person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/03\/james-van-der-beek-reveals-serious-cancer-diagnosis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Van Der Beek opened up months ago<\/a> about his colorectal cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>He continued yesterday:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to stand on that stage and thank every single person in the theater for being here tonight. Thank you to every single person here.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd, obviously, on Dawson\u2019s Creek, I had no understudy, but this is Broadway, and I needed one.
