\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jeff Bridges<\/strong><\/a> is thankful his wife Susan Bridges<\/strong><\/a> encouraged him to go to the doctor when he told her he felt like he had a bone in his stomach while doing exercise. <\/p>\n The 73-year-old Big Lebowski<\/em> actor was diagnosed in October 2020 with non-Hodgkins lymphoma<\/a> and was found to have a 9-by-12-inch tumor in his body.<\/p>\n Remarkably, he was able to do fight scenes for The Old Man<\/em> without any pain before undergoing chemotherapy. \u201cIt was slow at first, as they worked to find the right chemo cocktail for me,\u201d he said.Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n After chemotherapy, his tumor has shrunk \u201cto the size of a marble.\u201d<\/p>\n Jeff<\/strong> says that his battle with COVID<\/a> was actually more difficult than cancer.<\/p>\n \ufeff\u201cI got this letter from the chemo place informing me I had contracted COVID,\u201d Jeff<\/strong> told AARP<\/a>. \u201cI had no immune system to fight it. Chemo had wiped that out, which made it really, really tough.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cFor me cancer was nothing compared to the COVID,\u201d Jeff<\/strong> said as he was unable to walk and needed oxygen to breathe. <\/p>\n Now, sometimes it is a struggle for Jeff<\/strong> to have motivation in the mornings. \u201cI sometimes just wake up and say, \u2018Oh God, I gotta do it again. I gotta get up and do all this stuff I don\u2019t want to do,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cFortunately, we\u2019re all so creative, telling ourselves stories about why we feel all that. \u2018That\u2019s why I feel bad.
