The Vampire Diaries<\/em><\/a> alum, 36, recently called off her engagement to Olympic snowboarder Shaun White<\/strong><\/a> after five years together, and now all eyes are on her as she soaks up her post-breakup summer.<\/p>\n

Just weeks after news of the split broke, Nina was spotted vacationing in Italy with a star-studded group of friends. Per the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>, the actress joined Zac, Chace Crawford<\/strong>, Kelsey Merritt<\/strong>, Miles Teller <\/strong>and Keleigh Teller<\/strong> for a luxury yacht trip along the Italian coast. Social media snaps and photos obtained by the outlet showed Nina and Zac cozied up in conversation, instantly fueling rumors that the two longtime friends had turned romantic.<\/p>\n

The speculation comes at a dramatic time in Nina\u2019s personal life. Earlier this month, she attended the Toronto International Film Festival without her engagement ring, confirming what fans had suspected: her relationship with White, 39, was over.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a mutual decision, and wasn\u2019t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another,\u201d a source told People<\/em> of the split.<\/p>\n

The pair had appeared rock solid up until their breakup. White proposed in October 2024 with a five-carat diamond ring after years of sharing their romance publicly. They moved in together during the pandemic, quickly becoming a fan-favorite Hollywood couple. \u201cNina\u2019s just been so supportive and so amazing through this whole process for me,\u201d Shaun previously told People, calling her a \u201clifesaver\u201d during lockdown.<\/p>\n

But while Nina\u2019s ringless red carpet walk raised eyebrows, the Italian yacht trip with Zac sent fans into overdrive. Some even joked about a \u201cDofron\u201d nickname for the rumored pairing. Insiders, however, were quick to shut down the speculation.<\/p>\n

\u201cZac and Nina might be hanging out on a yacht, having fun, getting along but they aren\u2019t dating, they aren\u2019t looking to get together, so the rumors of something more just don\u2019t currently exist,\u201d an insider told the Daily Mail.<\/em><\/p>\n

They continued, \u201cNina is looking to unwind and just have fun and deal with life post-breakup, but that doesn\u2019t mean she is going to land in Zac\u2019s arms.
