Victoria Beckham<\/span><\/a> is opening up about her marriage to husband and former professional footballer <\/span>David Beckham<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n The couple, who tied the knot in July 1999, have spent more than two decades together, and the former Spice Girls member is getting candid about what it really takes to keep their 26-year relationship <\/span>alive<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In a new interview with <\/span>Elle<\/span><\/a> published yesterday, Beckham reflected on growth and change within a long-term relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSo often in relationships, one will say to the other, \u2018You\u2019ve changed.\u2019 Well, of course you\u2019ve changed! You\u2019re a different person when you\u2019re 20 than when you\u2019re 50,\u201d she shared.<\/span><\/p>\n The English fashion designer met Beckham in 1997, got engaged in 1998 and welcomed their first child, <\/span>Brooklyn Joseph<\/b> the next year. They got hitched at Luttrellstown Castle just outside of Dublin in July of 1999. The couple now shares four children together.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
