\t\t<\/p>\n Miranda Cosgrove<\/strong><\/a> is giving the latest update on the status of the iCarly<\/em><\/strong><\/a> movie!<\/p>\n The 32-year-old star of the Nickelodeon<\/strong><\/a> series and Paramount+<\/strong><\/a> revival shared some big news about how close we are to seeing the movie to close out the story after that big cliffhanger at the end <\/a>of the revival. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe script is almost finished and it looks like we\u2019re gonna be filming it early next year, so I\u2019m really excited,\u201d Miranda<\/strong> told THR<\/a><\/em> while promoting her new movie The Wrong Paris<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI think the biggest challenge now is gonna be casting the character that\u2019s gonna be the mom because that\u2019s a character I don\u2019t think any of us ever really thought we were gonna meet within that universe, so we just really want to make sure we get it right.\u201d<\/p>\n If you recall, the iCarly<\/em> revival\u2019s third season ended on the cliffhanger of Carly and Spencer\u2019s long-lost mother making a surprise return, but the final episode ended before we got to meet her!<\/p>\n Miranda<\/strong> also recently opened up about what it was like reprising her role in the iCarly <\/em>revival. <\/p>\n \u201cI will say it was very strange, like the first day when we got there and we saw all the sets built again, but the sets are all a little different, because it\u2019s supposed to be like all this time has passed. So it was a kind of a crazy, almost felt like a social experiment,\u201d she told THR<\/em>. \u201cIt was really fun getting to play that character again as an adult in a new environment and getting to actually have a say in what the character does and the scripts and the cast and all that stuff, that was really exciting.\u201d <\/p>\n Miranda <\/strong>first teased the possibility<\/a> of an iCarly<\/em> movie back in July 2024, several months after the revival was canceled by Paramount+. Later that year, she confirmed something was in the works<\/a>!<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
