Hugh Jackman<\/strong><\/a> says Deadpool<\/em><\/strong> and Wolverine<\/strong> hate each other.<\/p>\n

The 54-year-old actor will join Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> in the upcoming \u2018Deadpool 3\u2019, reprising his role as Wolverine from the \u2018X-Men\u2019 and \u2018Wolverine\u2019 movies and Hugh says the two characters will have an abrasive relationship.<\/p>\n

Speaking on \u2018The Empire Film Podcast\u2019, he said: \u201c10 being really close, zero being the reality, we\u2019re zero, we\u2019re opposites, hate each other. I\u2019m just talking from my perspective, [Logan is] frustrated by him, wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can\u2019t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I\u2019m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Wolverine died in the 2017 \u2018Logan\u2019 movie, Hugh insisted that his return in \u2018Deadpool 3\u2019 won\u2019t affect the events of \u2018Logan\u2019.<\/p>\n

He explained previously: \u201cIt\u2019s all because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines. Now we can go back because, you know, it\u2019s science. So, I don\u2019t have to screw with the \u2018Logan\u2019 timeline, which was important to me. And I think probably to the fans too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, director Shawn Levy has promised that there will be \u201chardcore\u201d violence in \u2018Deadpool 3\u2019.<\/p>\n

Shawn previously said: \u201cWe are writing, rewriting, developing, prepping \u2018Deadpool\u2019 every day now.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is such a blast to laugh every day. It is so delicious to hear and write and come up with these scenes where people are just talking foul. And the violence is in your face and hardcore, and it\u2019s very much a \u2018Deadpool\u2019 movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

Levy confirmed that the film is likely to start shooting in May 2023 and explained that having Jackman\u2019s Wolverine involved has added to his enjoyment of the flick.<\/p>\n

The director, who has worked with Ryan on \u2018Free Guy\u2019 and \u2018The Adam Project\u2019, said: \u201cI\u2019m having so much fun, and I haven\u2019t even hit the shooting floor yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to say, developing a \u2018Deadpool\u2019 movie is one of the most fun creative experiences of my life because it\u2019s not just that it\u2019s rated R. It\u2019s that it\u2019s so filled with self-awareness, and that makes in-writing very, very fun in a way that is unique to the franchise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
